This story is about a girl from Saskatchewan and a boy from Western Australia who met and fell in love while working on a project in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina in 2001. 

We have been together almost since we met and give some credit to our Australian Project Manager, who considered us to be his best project deliverable. 

From a professional perspective, we often refer to ourselves as two halves of a whole. Marilyn is a specialist in people change and Terry is a specialist in technology. There is nothing that we cannot do together. 

From a personal perspective, we are conjoined by our love of traveling, sports (tennis, football or what Terry calls “grid iron”, Aussie rules football, curling, etc.), food, wine, and entertaining. Marilyn is a passionate, creative, and curious soul who loves dancing, photography, cooking, dressing up, acrylic painting, music, and interior decorating. She is committed to wellness – which is revealed in how she eats and cooks, and in health choices like acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and essential oils. Terry is a creative, intensely curious, and pragmatic soul who can master any technology like creating our website or troubleshooting the latest computer-related technical problem. Terry is often asked for advice by friends who are trying to master their new cell phone, computer or TV. He is a great storyteller and is often the life of the party, regaling stories from his childhood or quoting Australian Bush Ballads that will have you spellbound or holding your sides in laughter. We love living in the Pacific Northwest in the United States, where we are surrounded by nature – mountains, wildlife, lakes, forest, oceans, and islands.
